We are looking for an Earthmoving Plant Operator with at least three years of experience.

Responsibilities
Preparing and positioning the plant for operation.
Selecting, fitting, and removing attachments such as buckets, winches, loading scoops, shovel blades and rock-breaking hammers.
Operating controls to excavate, break, drill, level, compact, gouge out, move, load, and spread earth, rock, rubble, soil and other materials
Monitoring the plant's operation and adjusting controls to regulate pressure, speed, and flow of operation, as well as ensuring the safety of other workers.
Raising, lowering, and manipulating attachments using manual and hydraulic controls.
Working from drawings, markers, and verbal instructions.
Servicing, lubricating, cleaning, and refueling the plant and performing minor adjustments and repairs.
Requirements and Skills
Must have at least three years of relevant experience.
Relevant NZ Driver’s Licence endorsement (WTR) or class 2, 3, 4 or 5.
Skills in operating and maintaining heavy equipment.
Knowledge of different types of digging attachments.
Knowledge of safe work practices and health and safety regulations.
Able to work and communicate well with others.
Willing to perform repetitive tasks.
Willing to submit background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations.
This is a full-time permanent role, and the hourly pay rate is $29.66. The work
hours are 40 hours minimum to 50 hours maximum per week, and they are to be
worked between Monday and Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. You may be
required to work on weekends.
