Our Client in Auckland Looking for an Experienced Restaurant / Cafe Manager 

Minimum 30 Hours Guaranteed.

$29.00 - $30.00 Per hour 

We are looking for a Cafe Manager to run our small front-of-house team and work with our kitchen team to give our guests a great experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Customer service
  • Operating POS system, updating when needed
  • Serving food and clearing tables
  • Supervising staff, delegating jobs
  • Communicating with the kitchen team
  • Stock ordering, and assisting with product development
  • Help with staff recruitment, and supervise/manage on-the-job training
  • Work on your own and as part of a team


Experience and Attributes

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager in a similar environment
  • Great communication and customer service skills, including being able to interact with visitors from around the world
  • A positive, punctual, and professional approach
  • Common sense with a fast-paced nature
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude with an enthusiastic personality
  • Work well under pressure
  • The ability to be able to delegate tasks, and manage staff on a daily basis in order to get the best performance from the team
