Our Client in Auckland Looking for an Experienced Restaurant / Cafe Manager
Minimum 30 Hours Guaranteed.
$29.00 - $30.00 Per hour
We are looking for a Cafe Manager to run our small front-of-house team and work with our kitchen team to give our guests a great experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer service
- Operating POS system, updating when needed
- Serving food and clearing tables
- Supervising staff, delegating jobs
- Communicating with the kitchen team
- Stock ordering, and assisting with product development
- Help with staff recruitment, and supervise/manage on-the-job training
- Work on your own and as part of a team
Experience and Attributes
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager in a similar environment
- Great communication and customer service skills, including being able to interact with visitors from around the world
- A positive, punctual, and professional approach
- Common sense with a fast-paced nature
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude with an enthusiastic personality
- Work well under pressure
- The ability to be able to delegate tasks, and manage staff on a daily basis in order to get the best performance from the team
