Two Scott Limited is a Christchurch-based manufacturer specializing in the fabrication of high-quality aluminium windows and doors. We are committed to craftsmanship, precision, and delivering tailored solutions to our customers across the construction industry.

We are currently seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our growing team. This role will play an important part in the manufacturing and fabrication of our aluminium products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricating, assembling, and repairing aluminium windows, doors, and related products.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
  • Measuring, cutting, and shaping aluminium materials using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.
  • Operating various workshop equipment and machinery such as cutting saws, punches, presses, and welding machines.
  • Aligning and joining components using welding or mechanical fastening methods.
  • Inspecting finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety policies.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

To be considered for this position, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • A minimum of one year of relevant work experience in metal fabrication, preferably with aluminium joinery.
  • A New Zealand Level 4 qualification in a related trade (e.g., fabrication, welding, mechanical engineering).
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline.
