The Role
Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.
Please note our client requires an IDAM (ForgeRock) Engineer for this role which has been aligned to Software Engineer job family.
Key duties and responsibilities:
• Support the delivery of a transformational new user registration process;
Guidance and advice as part of the implementation of the transformational new user registration process;
• Work with AUSTRAC SMEs on ForgeRock component configurations, service checks and ensure service stability for current and future workloads;
• Design, develop, test & implement identity management frameworks, systems and protocols;
• Develop, implement and manage IAM systems including: SSO, authentication and access controls to ensure security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of IAM systems and data.
• Develop and manage patterns for application deployment that manage security at every level.
• Ensure that all procured and / or developed IAM systems are implemented properly and function as intended.
The Candidate
○ Experience working in a secure government environment (federal, state or similar)
○ Extensive hands on experience with identity and access management, including;
○ Experience performing deployments in highly secure and highly available environments.
○ Extensive experience in troubleshooting, identifying and resolving technical identity and access management related issues.
○ Knowledge of automation and Dev/Ops practices.
○ The ability to work collaboratively with business driven project teams as well as infrastructure teams
