The role will include, but not limited to:

Independently prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring consistency in quality, portion, and presentation.

Uphold high food standards by maintaining the freshness, taste, and visual appeal of all dishes.

Adhere strictly to hygiene and food safety regulations, maintaining a clean and compliant kitchen environment.

Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock appropriately, and report shortages to management in a timely manner.

Contribute to menu development by suggesting new items and assisting in the testing of recipes.

Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication and timely service delivery.

Effectively manage kitchen workflow during busy periods to ensure all orders are delivered promptly.

Apply portion control and waste reduction strategies to support cost-effective kitchen operations.

Operate and maintain kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.

Support and guide junior kitchen staff when needed to ensure a cohesive and efficient kitchen team
Job pre-requisites:

At least 2 years of cooking experience

Relevant cookery qualifications are preferable but not a must

Excellent communication skills

The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions

- Job Salary : $26.00 - 28.00
- Working hours: 30 - 40 hours per week
