Key Responsibility:
- Coordinate and undertake administrative tasks to support construction projects and organisational programs.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Prepare, issue, and manage project documentation including tenders, contracts, building consents, and compliance records.
- Organise project start-ups and handover activities, ensuring all required documents, permits, and logistics are in place.
- Attend and document project meetings, follow up on action items, and maintain accurate communication across teams.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities to facilitate approvals and project coordination.
- Support management in feasibility studies, reporting, and documentation for development and investment projects.
- Maintain organised project records and promote teamwork, efficiency, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
- NZQCF Level 5 or higher qualification in a relevant field OR
- At least 3 years’ relevant work experience in project coordination/administration.
- Strong coordination and scheduling capability; high attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficient with project documentation, spreadsheets and basic budgeting/cost tracking.
- Clear written and verbal communication; confident stakeholder liaison (clients, suppliers, trades).
- Practical understanding of site H&S and quality assurance in fit-out/installation environments.
