We are urgently looking for a Construction Project Manager, you will be required to work at all the weekends and some public holidays to oversee urgent renovation projects from planning to completion. You’ll manage timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute renovation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Prepare and manage budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with NZ building codes, health & safety regulations.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and resolving issues.
- Oversee procurement and delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ full time experience in construction project management (renovation experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of NZ building codes and consent processes.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Nimbus, MS Project).
- Ability to read and interpret building plans.
