Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $30 to $35 per hour

We are seeking a motivated person to join our restaurant team as a 3 x Chef.  You will be rostered to work at least 30 hours to 40 hours per week, and able to work on weekends and public holidays for this busy role.

Duties

  • Working in line with the instructions of the Head Chef and Senior Chefs to prepare authentic Indian / Middle Eastern / Indo-Chinese dishes and curries 

  • Ensuring food is prepared in line with Kitchen quality standards Seasoning dishes, preparing ingredients for cooking. 

  • Portioning food, garnishing food and controlling wastage Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment 

  • Should be able to work unsupervised 

  • Should be flexible to work extra hours/ shift work when required and must be able to work on weekends, long weekends as required 

  • Ability to prepare and present Traditional food items for vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes in a Multi-cuisine and busy environment 

  • *Must be able to work unsupervised. Weekend and roaster shifts as required 

  • Ability to maintain personal hygiene 

  •  We need a specialized Mandi and biryani chef , Arabi and muglai dessert and salads able to cook unsupervised 

Requirements:

  • Previous qualification or experience 

  • Be physically fit and able to lift kitchen goods, meat, and grocery products.

  • Be punctual and have good personal hygiene.

  • Able to work as part of a team.

  • Should be flexible to work extra hours/shift work when required, and must be able to work weekends, public holidays and festivals as required.
