Ability to speak Chinese and Cantonese is preferred;
Previous working experience in Chinese restaurants is preferred;
- Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Checking ingredients to make sure the quality and freshness
• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in various utensils and grillers
• Seasoning, portioning, adding sauces to the dish during/after cooking
• Preparing food to meet client’s taste and dietary needs
• Storing and reserving food to the right temperature and facilities
• Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized
and prepared for the next shift.
• Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each
run, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assisting in planning menus, estimating food and labour costs
• Assisting with training and supervising kitchen staff whenever required
