Registered Nurse – Orthopaedic Inpatients

Auckland | Full-Time | Up to $52.89 per hour

 

Are you an experienced Orthopaedic Inpatient RN looking for a role where your skills genuinely matter? We’re seeking a Registered Nurse to join a modern surgical orthopaedic service supporting elective joint replacement and spinal surgery patients.

 

You’ll work across two established orthopaedic wards within a busy private surgical environment, alongside a supportive Charge Nurse Manager and an experienced, collaborative team.

 

About the Role

• Permanent full-time

• 8-hour shifts across a balanced 24/7 roster

• Care for elective orthopaedic & spinal patients across two inpatient wards

• Work alongside highly skilled surgeons, physiotherapists, and MDT teams

• Support post-op recovery, mobility, pain management & patient education

• Deliver safe, high-quality care aligned with best-practice professional nursing standards

 

Must-Have Experience

Experience nursing patients post joint replacement and/or spinal surgery

Experience must be within NZ or comparable systems: Australia, UK, Ireland

NZ Registered Nurse with current APC

Strong surgical nursing knowledge, monitoring & assessment skills

Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centred practice
