​Registered Nurse – Radiology Team Leader

Auckland | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $58–$62 per hour

We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead a specialised Radiology Nursing team within a modern diagnostic imaging service.

This permanent 1.0 FTE, Monday–Friday position offers stability, clinical variety, and a chance to lead a small, highly skilled team through interventional radiology procedures.

 

About the Role

As the Radiology Nurse Team Leader, you’ll oversee daily clinical operations, support patient preparation and recovery, coordinate workflows, and ensure a calm, safe environment during interventional treatments.

You will work closely with radiologists, technical staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team to uphold exceptional standards of patient care.

 

Essential Requirements (must have):

Significant experience in Radiology nursing, including interventional procedures

Firm understanding of radiology clinical protocols and regulatory standards

Leadership experience (team coordination, mentoring, or senior RN responsibilities)

NZ Registered Nurse with current APC

Excellent communication, organisational and clinical decision-making skills

Ability to lead calmly and professionally in a fast-paced technical environment
