Interior Doors Auckland Ltd is a leading interior door manufacturing company specializing in high-quality timber doors and door frames. With increasing production demand, we are seeking 2 skilled and motivated Joiners to join our team. 

About the Role

The Door Joiner will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing timber components to produce interior doors and related products (such as door frame, door seal strip, door hinge and others). The role requires precision, technical skill, and the ability to work safely with wood, machinery, and hand tools.

Key Duties

• Read and interpret production drawings, plans, and specifications for interior doors and door frame.

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber components accurately according to design requirements.

• Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, routers, planers, and sanders safely and efficiently.

• Assemble door panels, frames, and other timber structures, ensuring joints are strong and precise.

• Apply finishes, veneers, or laminates to timber products to achieve a high-quality appearance.

• Inspect completed components for quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications.

• Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.

• Collaborate with other team members and production staff to meet daily and weekly production targets.

• Follow workplace health and safety guidelines, including proper use of protective equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in joinery or carpentry industry. 

• Relevant qualification or certificate is preferable but not a must 

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
