Carpenters Needed

Carp Investments Ltd is a well-established construction company, which integrates the full service from design to construction. We are looking for Carpenters to join our team. 

 Salary Range: $30-32 per hour

Location: In Auckland range

Minimum hours per week: 30 hours at least

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Two-year relevant work experience or Level 4 qualification

  • Honest, reliable, hardworking with a 'can do' attitude and willing to learn

  • Attention to detail and able to see projects through to completion

  • Excellent work ethic and great time management

  • Passion for the industry

  • Being physically fit

  • Must not have any criminal record

The role will include, but not limited to

  • Use building blueprints and diagrams to determine the proper dimensions, shape and design of a form structure

  • Select and work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, concrete

  • Build timber and concrete forms

  • Use precise measurements to cut and assemble boards, timbers or plywood to the necessary size

  • Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to repair and erect structures

  • Secure the form with nails, bolts, screws or anchor rods

  • Build stairs, mantles, and furniture

  • Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure

  • Work on top of stilts, ladders, and the top beams of buildings
