Yard Manager

About the role

As well as maintaining customer loyalty through the smooth operation of your department you will also be required to:

  • Overall management of yard to ensure everything is in order.
  • Ensuring that the stock are being received accurately and all the paper work has been completed.
  • Ensure all the trucks are fully maintained.
  • Staff management.
  • Ensure work is managed managed properly and efficiently. 
  • Resolve customer service issues.
  • Work alongside the with the director and supervisors to maintain systems ensuring a healthy and safe working environment

About you

You will succeed in this role because you have the following skills experience and values:

  • Supervisory/managerial experience with an ability to motivate the team
  • Class 1 Licence Essential
  • An eye for detail coupled with excellent time management skills and a willingness to want to work in an organised and clean environment
  • Basic tech skills - Knowledge of computer systems & basic operating skills

Pay rate - $28 - $32 per hour

Tyre Fitters

About this role:

  • Assist with the day-to-day activities of the tyre business.
  • Removing and replacing tyres
  • Diagnosing tyre damage & wear
  • Diagnosing wheel balance problems and balancing wheels
  • Performing puncture repairs conforming to relevant standards
  • Providing a high standard of customer service in a professionally presented environment.
  • Supporting others in the team as required.

Must haves:

  • Superior time management skills and a commitment to meeting objectives.
  • Passion for what you do and a desire to help the team to succeed.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player who wants to embrace and enhance our team culture.

Experience:

  • two years of experience  is required 

Pay rate - $27 - $30 per hour
