Development General Hand wanted in Canterbury

Purpose

To ensure the company continues to grow and deliver fruit to its customers through operational excellence and first-class workforce development strategies. 

  • Normal hours of work will be a minimum of 30 hours per week  
  • Between Monday – Sunday and you are expected to be available to work between the hours span of 5.00am to 6.00pm.

  • Carry out all duties in accordance with company values and industry standards and practices. 
  • To provide efficient and productive assistance to the development and operational team under the direction of the Development Manager. 
  • Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner that is complaint with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) 
  • Assist with required development and orchard activities as required. 
  • To report any required safety issues, repairs and maintenance directly to Development Manager immediately. 
  • Operate in a proactive manner, trouble-shoot issues and to seek continuous improvement through eƯective engagement with staƯ and management.
  • To undertake other tasks and duties as directed by the Development Manager.
