We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Position: Cook X2

Location: Kawerau, Bay of Plenty

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $25 to $30

Work Hours: 30 to 40 hrs weekly

As a cook, you will carry out the following tasks:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard

  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety practices at all times

  • Assist in menu planning, food preparation, and stock management

  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes

  • Work collaboratively with kitchen team

  • Implement proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must have a 1 year of experience in similar role or relevant qualification.

  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively

  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays

  • Reliable, hardworking, and committed to quality service
