Join a well-respected commercial construction firm as an Excavator operator. Full time position in Auckland. Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work available.
We are looking for a quality person to work in our construction company who is able to drive a truck and operate an excavator. Must have Relevant licences – Full NZ licence including WTR endorsement and 3 years work experience. You will be a self starter and able to read and understand plans. We will support your growth, and train skills needed that will help you develop your career.
You will hone your skills working on our sites alongside one of our Site Managers / Project Managers.
Experienced in the construction industry you’re happiest in a team environment. Whatever your skill level, you hold high-standards. Proactive with Health & Safety you’re committed to helping us maintain our excellent safety record and be able to pass random and pre employment drug tests / police checks. Honest and reliable, you pride yourself on consistently putting in a good day's work. Courteous you’re comfortable working with the public.

Job requirements
Be able to carry out the full range of vehicle disciplines in a tradesman like manner. These may include but are not limited to.
- Delivery of equipment to our sites
- Preparing and positioning plant for operation
- Site excavation and monitoring operations
- Select, fit & remove attachments from equipment as required
- Maintaining Plant and Vehicle in good working condition
- Loading/unloading using lifting and tipping devices
- Checking COF and certs are up to date
