Retail Floor Worker (Night Shift) to provide extraordinary and efficient customer service at the counter during the night shift period. 

The RFW must ensure excellent standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and product quality are maintained.  The Night Shift RFW is responsible for completing tasks that cannot easily be done during busier periods.

Position Available: Retail Floor Worker (Night Shift)

Number of Positions Available: 2

Location: Manawatū-Whanganui Region

Payrate: $25 to $30 per hour

Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30

Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

 

Key Requirements:

At least 6 months of any experience or Any Level 2 or above qualification 

  • Ability to communicate clearly and provide friendly, helpful service to customers
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

 

Report to: Site Leader

Position Purpose  

To provide extraordinary and efficient customer service at the counter during the night shift period.   The RFW must ensure excellent standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and product quality are maintained.  The Night Shift RFW is responsible for completing tasks that cannot easily be done during busier periods.

In addition the RFW must complete all tasks to the stated Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) policies and Food Safety Standards.

Principle Accountabilities

In addition to following Z Energy’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides quality customer service at the console
  • Conducts housekeeping and merchandising checks, ensuring the site is fully stocked.
  • Secures cash and manages the shift to balance
  • Is proficient in all areas of the Food and Beverage section
  • Complies with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) and Food Safety Standards
  • Handles customer/supplier complaints efficiently and in a friendly manner
  • Promotes Z App and pre order App
  • Develops and maintains great working relationships with all site staff members, Site Leader, Operations Managers and Retailers. 
  • Is always looking for ways to improve our process’s for the benefit of both staff and customers
  • Completes other tasks on site when required
  • Prepares food cabinets for start of day and completes food temp checks regularly.
