We are a Hawke's Bay-based cleaning company, seeking a Manager to join our company. We serve sectors including commercial, retail, industrial, hospitality and education. Responsible for the activities of staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to the policies and procedures.

1. Supervise Cleaning Staff
• Oversee daily work, ensure tasks are completed to the required standards.
• Provide guidance, support, and feedback.


2. Create Work Schedules
• Prepare daily/weekly cleaning rosters.
• Allocate tasks based on site needs and staff availability.


3. Training & Development
• Train new cleaners on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety rules.
• Refresh training for existing staff when required.


4. Quality Control & Site Inspections
• Conduct regular inspections across all sites.
• Identify issues and implement improvements.


5. Stock & Supplies Management
• Monitor cleaning supplies across sites.
• Order, distribute, and manage inventory levels.


6. Staff Performance & Attendance
• Manage timekeeping, attendance records, and staff behavior.
• Report concerns to management.


7. Health & Safety Compliance
• Ensure all cleaners follow safe work procedures.
• Report hazards or incidents immediately.


8. Client Communication
• Follow up with clients regarding site conditions.
• Address concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.

9. Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare weekly/monthly cleaning reports.
• Document issues, staff movements, and equipment needs.

Must have 2 years of experience OR a Level 4 qualification in the relevant field. 

This is a full-time permanent job and ensures a minimum of 30-40 hours per week. 

Applicant must be able to work over weekends and after hours due to the nature of the job.
