deVere New Zealand is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Financial Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the office and all personnel and providing comprehensive financial planning advice and solutions to our clients. This role will require the candidate to travel to clients within Auckland and outer regions, as required.

Responsibilities:

·         - Managing the deVere New Zealand business, including all personnel.

·         - Responsible for all operational activities, and regulatory compliance

·         - Building and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and needs.

·         - Analysing clients' financial situations and recommending appropriate financial solutions and   investment strategies.

·         - Managing and growing a portfolio of clients through effective client communication and proactive   account management.

·         - Travelling to clients within Auckland and outer regions, as required.

·         - Keeping up to date with the latest financial products, services, and industry trends to provide the   best advice to clients.

 

Requirements:

·         - New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 essential.

·         - At least 5-10 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in UK Commercial Banking essential.

·         - BSc Economics degree with focus on Financial Accounting essential

·         - Strong understanding of financial products and services, investment strategies, and risk   management.

·         - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         - Proven track record of achieving targets and meeting performance metrics.

·         - Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.

·         - Knowledge of United Kingdon financial products and services.

·         - Knowledge of New Zealand financial regulations and industry standards essential.
