We are looking for a Team Leader to join our wonderful team based in Auckland. As a team leader, you will be considered the team's Manager and will oversee the daily operations, manage cleaning staff, and ensure facilities meet strict hygiene and safety standards. You will be responsible to train new hires, inspect work areas, handle supply inventory, and act as the primary link between cleaning staff, management, and clients. So, your role is to monitor and oversee the team members activities. We need someone who wants to get stuck in and make this role their own!
This is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 32 hours per week and the pay rate for this position will be $34 per hour.


Responsibilities will include
 Supervising and leading team members
 Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
 Ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and correct
 Ensuring that your workplace is tidy, clean and well organized.
 Preparing Rosters, and manage Pay roll.
 Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace
 Hiring, training, and mentoring team members. 
 Setting clear performance expectations and providing regular feedback. 
 Conducting performance reviews and addressing any performance issues. 
 Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. 
 Managing team dynamics and resolving conflicts. 
 Overseeing day-to-day team operations and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. 
 Monitoring progress, tracking key performance indicators, and reporting on team
performance. 
 Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance team efficiency. 
 Managing resources, including budgets and equipment, as needed. 
 Communicating team priorities and workflows to senior management. 
 Developing and implementing strategies to improve team performance and achieve
objectives. 
 Implement strategies to attract new customers
 Conduct routine site inspections to ensure facilities are spotless and comply with health and safety codes.


Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role you will need:

 Either a minimum of Level 4 certificate/diploma in Business/management or any stream OR 1 years’ experience as manager/supervisor/team leader in any field.
 The ability to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills
 A can-do attitude and a great team player.
