Pest Control Technician

Payless Pest Control Limited is seeking a permanent pest control technician to join their team in Auckland.

We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours work per week. The successful applicant must be available to work weekends. 

Remuneration ranges from $25 - $28 per hour, depending on skills and/or experience.          

Successful candidates must have their full class 1 (or overseas equivalent) and be able to drive manual transmission company vehicles.

The ordinary duties of a pest control technician include:

• Servicing regular pest control contracts (rodents, insects, birds, and general pest management)
• Load and unload the service vehicle effectively to complete daily
  assignments. Keeping track of stock.
• Removal of deceased pests from ceiling cavities etc.
• Occasional trapping and humane dispatching of pests such as
  possums.
• Conduct inspections of customer premises to identify signs of pest
  infestations.
• Implement effective pest control measures and advise customers on prevention techniques.
• Address hygiene risks and client concerns to enhance
  work environments.
• Complete service reports to document services performed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Stay aware of client needs and identify opportunities to improve service standards.
