THE RIGHT MOVE TRANSPORT LIMITED, known for providing quality and professional barber services, is currently seeking focused and skilled Barbers to join its team in the Northland region. The ideal candidates will be attentive, reliable, and friendly individuals with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high grooming standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients in a professional and friendly manner and conduct consultations to understand their grooming preferences and styling requirements.
• Provide a range of barbering services including hair cutting, trimming, fading, clipping, and styling in accordance with client requests.
• Perform beard shaving, trimming, lining, and moustache grooming using appropriate barbering techniques and tools.
• Shampoo, condition, and treat hair and scalp as required to support hair health and cleanliness.
• Style hair using clippers, scissors, razors, trimmers, dryers, and other barbering equipment to achieve desired looks.
• Apply hair colouring products and assist with fitting or grooming hairpieces where required.
• Recommend suitable hairstyles, beard styles, and grooming products based on clients’ preferences and appearance.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene by cleaning and sanitising barbering tools, equipment, chairs, and workstations after each client.
• Provide face, scalp, and neck massages as part of grooming and customer care services where required. 
• Process customer payments and maintain professional customer service throughout the appointment process.
• Ensure the barbering area remains clean, organised, and compliant with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Work cooperatively with team members and carry out other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $35 per hour subject to skills and experience.

Other requirements include:

•  A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required. 
• Available to work weekends and flexible hours as required. 
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods during shifts. 
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Reliable, hardworking, calm, and passionate about delivering quality customer service.
