We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cook to join our hospitality team across Canterbury, including Cheviot, Amberley, and Christchurch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of meals according to menu requirements

  • Ensuring food is prepared to a high standard of quality, taste, and presentation

  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen

  • Following food safety and health & safety regulations at all times

  • Managing food stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies

  • Working collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team

  • Assisting with menu planning and daily specials where required

  • Ensuring efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods

  • We have food trailers and on the basis of the roasters the cook will be informed o for the location.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience or qualification preferred

  • Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety standards

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays if required

Employment Details:

  • Full-time position

  • Minimum 30 hours per week and $25 to $35 Per hour
