Title: Beauty Salon Assistant

Location: Hamilton

Job Type: Permanent Fulltime, 30 hours minimum

Pay Rate bracket: $29.70 to $32.00 an hour based on experience

We are seeking a talented Beauty Salon Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible in assisting the Staff in providing a wide range of beauty services to our clients, including Services related to beauty and personal care, and other beauty treatments. We are seeking Beauty Salon Assistant who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and delivering high-quality beauty services

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and consult with them to determine their beauty care needs
• Assist Beautician with providing beauty services, and other beauty treatments like Waxing, Massages, Hair services and Facials
• Recommend appropriate beauty products to clients, and Input details in system, Follow up on clients
• Keep work areas clean and sanitized and take instructions from senior staff members
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in beauty care
• Build and maintain a loyal customer base and promote business to all clients to generate repetitive business
• Work efficiently and manage time effectively
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Preferred Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of beauty treatments and techniques is a bonus, but not compulsory
• Relevant Experience / qualification is preferred, but not compulsory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work as per salon timing, including evenings and weekends
