Kaikoura is one of the best places in the world both to encounter dusky dolphins in their natural environment, and to view a wide variety of albatross and other pelagics!
Encounter Kaikoura operates boat based tours to encounter some of the incredible wildlife found here; and also has a great cafe and retail store at our operating hub, which has spectacular views of both The Pacific Ocean and The Kaikoura Seaward Mountains.
