Job Overview

We seek a Director of Research and Development (R&D) specialising in filtration and embalming techniques to join our team. This role is crucial in driving innovation and ensuring the continuous improvement of our embalming practices and environmental sustainability efforts. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of chemistry, biology, environmental science, and the latest industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

·                Lead the R&D department, focusing on advancing filtration and embalming techniques.

·                Develop and implement new embalming chemicals and methods that are environmentally friendly and enhance the preservation quality.

·                Innovate and improve filtration systems to minimise environmental impact.

·                Conduct comprehensive research on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the funeral services industry.

·                Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.

·                Work closely with the operations team to integrate new technologies and practices into daily operations.

·                Develop training programs for staff on new embalming and filtration techniques.

Qualifications:
