We are looking for a Senior Hairdresser & Beautician to work at our Auckland salon and grow it to new heights.

You can grow in this role immensely, and work within the exciting industry as a Hairdresser and Beautician and provide services related to Haircuts, Hair styling, Colouring and Hair treatments. You will also need to perform beauty related services like Hair removal, make up, Facials and massages.

Location: Auckland, Onehunga

Job Type: Permanent Fulltime, Minimum of 30 hours per week

Pay Rate Bracket: $30.00 an hour and Employer is willing to go to $35.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities:

· Greet clients and consult with them to determine their hair care needs, this may include wigs and hair pieces.

· Cut, trim, and style hair using scissors, clippers, razors and other hair styling tools.

· Colour, highlight, and dye hair using various colouring techniques.

· Permanent straightening, Keratin treatments and blow dry

· Provide hair extensions and other hair treatment services.

· Recommend appropriate hair care products to clients.

· Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps

· Arranging appointments and collecting payments, Keep work areas clean and sanitized.

· Perform waxing and tinting services

· Product application and sale

· Perform manicures and pedicures, facial and/or body massage

· Skin care consultation Ensure salon area is always presentable

Preferred Requirements:

· Excellent customer service skills

· Relevant Experience of 2 years and / or level 4 qualification OR A bachelor’s degree or Higher qualification in any field will be accepted for this role

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to work as per salon timing, including evenings and weekends.
