Xpert Window Tinting is a family-owned window tinting business based in South Auckland. We are looking for an experienced Window Film Installer to join our small workshop team in Wiri. 

This is a hands-on role for an experienced installer who can confidently complete window film installations across a wide range of glass and Perspex surfaces while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Job description

The successful applicant will be responsible for installing window film, commonly known as window tint, to a wide range of glass and Perspex surfaces.

Key duties include:

  • Preparing and thoroughly cleaning glass and Perspex surfaces prior to installation.

  • Measuring, cutting and preparing window film for installation.

  • Professionally applying window film to a range of glass and Perspex surfaces.

  • Using heat guns and specialist window film installation tools where required.

  • Removing existing window film and adhesive where required.

  • Removing and reinstalling trims, fittings or other components where necessary to complete an installation.

  • Inspecting completed work and ensuring installations meet Xpert Window Tinting's workmanship and quality standards.

  • Carefully moving customer property or items within the workshop where required to complete installation work.

  • Working to the daily workshop schedule and communicating promptly with the team if a job is likely to be delayed.

  • Safely using and maintaining tools and workshop equipment.

  • Keeping the immediate work area clean and organised.

  • Completing light workshop cleaning and tidy-up duties before closing each day.

  • Taking reasonable care when working with customers' property and materials.
