Graphic Designer

META International Group Limited provides IT, digital and creative services to businesses. Our projects include websites, branding, advertising and promotional materials. We are looking for a Graphic Designer who can work across both digital and print projects.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in North Shore, Auckland, with a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week.

What you will do

·       Meet with clients and our team to understand project briefs and design requirements.

·       Develop design concepts and prepare layouts for client projects.

·       Design website graphics, social media content and digital advertising materials.

·       Create brochures, flyers, posters and other promotional materials.

·       Work on branding projects, including logos, colours, typography and other visual elements.

·       Prepare sketches and artwork to present design ideas, then make changes based on feedback.

·       Prepare final artwork and files for digital use and print production.

·       Work with web developers on the visual side of website projects.

·       Check final designs for accuracy and consistency, and keep client design files organised.

What we are looking for

·       A relevant qualification in graphic design, product design, visual communication or a related design field.

·       Good skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and experience with Figma or similar tools.

·       A sound understanding of layout, typography, colour and visual communication.

·       Experience designing for both digital and print.

·       Good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.

·       A portfolio of relevant design work.

Experience with website design, UI/UX or digital advertising would be an advantage.

Ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients about design briefs and feedback would be an advantage.
