Looking for a truck driver for a concrete truck (Class 4) in our family-run operation

The key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

·       Driving heavy vehicles.

·       Ensuring compliance with vehicle load limits and safety regulations.

·       Completing the necessary paperwork as required under legislation and business

procedures.

·       Delivering goods to specified customers within a specified time frame. To assist in

Loading and unloading trucks.

·       Maintaining the truck in a clean and tidy condition to comply with standard industry

Requirement.

·       Filling the logbook daily and handing in a copy fortnightly to the office.

·       Picking up the manifest/paperwork from dispatch for delivery.

·       Washing the truck after every load

 

Skills and experience required for the role:

·       Class 4 driver’s licence

·       Must be able to drive Manual transmission

·       One year of truck driving experience

·       Able to work weekends

·       Able to clear the drug and criminal history check

·       Ability to work unsupervised

·       Should be physically fit as the job may involve jumping up and down

from the truck frequently and Heavy lifting

·       Full training and supervision will be provided in log truck driving.

·       Uniform and PPE gear are supplied.

·       Applicants will need to be health and safety conscious, motivated,

·       physically fit and capable of working up to 70 hours per week, Monday

to Saturday.

Minimum 30 hours a week.
