UnicomIT provides enterprise software development and system integration services. Its work spans CRM and ERP systems, web and mobile applications, CCTV platform integration, smart-home solutions and intelligent video applications.

The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, implement and maintain software used in these solutions. The role requires both hands-on programming and engineering judgement to ensure that applications and connected systems are reliable, secure and suitable for client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test and maintain reliable software applications.
  • Build backend services, APIs, databases and system integrations.
  • Develop features for CCTV management, live streaming, playback and event handling.
  • Support CRM, ERP, billing, inventory and customer service systems.
  • Integrate third-party hardware, software platforms and vendor APIs.
  • Contribute to AI-assisted video analytics and reporting tools.
  • Troubleshoot defects and improve system security, performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical documentation and software releases.
  • Work with internal teams and clients to understand and deliver business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in software design, development, testing and debugging.
  • Knowledge of Java, web technologies, REST APIs, SQL databases or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
  • Experience with cloud services, mobile applications, CCTV platforms or AI integration is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a technical team.
