Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other construction materials.
Construct, install, repair and maintain building frameworks and structures, including walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows and partitions.
Install timber fixtures, fittings, cabinetry and other wooden components where required.
Erect and dismantle formwork for concrete structures.
Repair and replace damaged or defective timber structures and fittings.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and accurately.
Check completed work to ensure it meets required measurements, specifications and quality standards.
