General Hand / Labourer

Location: Hamilton & Waikato Area

Pay Rate: $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience and skills

About the Role We are a small landscaping and concrete company looking for a reliable and hardworking General Hand / Labourer to join our team.

The role involves a range of general labouring duties, including:

• General manual labour

• Digging and site preparation

• Preparing land for landscaping and concrete work

• Brick and block work

• Loading, unloading and heavy lifting

• Assisting with landscaping and concrete projects

• Operating machinery such as diggers and excavators, where required and appropriately trained

Training can be provided for the right person. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to receive training across different areas of the business, with potential for further skills development and job progression.

About You

 The successful applicant will:

• Be available to work 40 hours per week, with additional hours as required

• Be reliable and punctual

• Work well as part of a team

• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Be willing to learn and follow instructions

• Show initiative and take pride in their work

• Follow company policies and health and safety requirements

• Be physically capable of performing the manual duties required for the role

• Have previous experience in landscaping, construction, concrete work or general labouring (preferred)
