THE ROLE
You'll take projects from planning through to completion, making sure jobs are well organised, on budget, on time and delivered to a high standard.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing commercial electrical projects, programmes and budgets
- Coordinating electricians, apprentices, subcontractors and other trades
- Working closely with clients, main contractors and project teams
- Procurement, quoting, estimating and variations
- Labour, materials, resources and cost control
- Project reporting and back-costing
- Site coordination and Health & Safety
- Resolving issues and keeping projects moving
- Supporting and mentoring the electrical team
We're looking for someone with:
- 5+ years' experience as a Senior Electrician and/or Electrical Project Manager
- Current NZ Electrical Registration and Practising Licence
- Strong commercial electrical experience
- Experience running jobs, coordinating people and working with main contractors
- Understanding of quoting, estimating, procurement, project costs and familiar with pricing variations on the job.
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
- Experience with Simpro, Fergus or SiteDocs is advantageous
- SiteWise, IMPAC, Solar, HVAC or EV experience is a bonus
- Full NZ driver's licence
