About the Role

We are seeking experienced Operations Lead’s to oversee the successful execution of work across our Waste and Industrial divisions.

In this role, you will provide strong local leadership and clear direction to your team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, driving operational performance, and fostering a positive, safety-focused work culture.

You’ll also support continuous improvement initiatives, helping to improve productivity, cost control, and overall operational effectiveness.

Location: You will be required to work in Auckland, Northland, Bay of Plenty, Christchurch, Waikato, Taranaki, Wellington and Otago regions 

Hours of Work: Our normal hours of operation are between 6am and 10pm, 7 days per week. This role is a 40 hours per week position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support operational delivery across waste and industrial services
• Provide clear leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and quality outcomes
• Drive performance, productivity, and continuous improvement
• Oversee operational budgets and contribute to financial performance and cost control
• Manage resources to meet operational and client needs
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Support broader business goals and operational success

About You

• Hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong communication skills with sound decision-making ability
• Focused on safety, performance, and developing people
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a manager in the industrial sector
• Ability to lead teams and manage competing priorities effectively

Pay conditions

 Min $50 per hour to a maximum of $68 per hour.
