Prepare and serve meals for three evenings per week in Timaru kitchen
Cook Position
Our client needs a skilled cook to work 3 evenings a week, creating delicious meals and desserts. Start date 19 October!
What you will be doing:
- Food preparation
- Cooking meals, desserts, snacks, and baking
- Cleaning
- Serving meals
Days and hours:
- Monday to Wednesday, 4 - 7 pm
- Rostered Saturdays - once a month
What we are looking for:
- Someone with proven kitchen/cooking experience
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety
- Available for the days/hours listed above
- Able to commit to the role long term
This will start as a temporary assignment, with the opportunity to become permanent.

- Have NZ work rights
- Pass drug screening
- Provide referees contactable by phone
- Complete Stafford registration process including criminal history check, ACC check, and Police Vetting
- Have excellent communication skills
