As a Storeperson (Warehouse Operator), your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Performing general warehousing duties, including precise picking of dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving, storing, and rotating stock, loading trucks, and managing incoming deliveries
  • Assisting with stock rotation as well as inventory and cycle count procedures
  • Maintaining positive communication with customers, co-workers, and management
  • Ensuring a safe work environment in accordance with company guidelines and relevant legislation
  • Participating in product recall procedures and using all material handling equipment correctly

About you: A team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices Reliable with a positive demeanour Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety principles is an advantage Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed Forklift licence/certificate (MHE) including high- reach would be advantageous Ability to meet the role requirements and undertake pre-employment medical (including Drug and alcohol) testing
