About the Role

We're looking for an ACC & Non-Eligible Revenue Coordinator to join our Finance team in South Canterbury. This role plays an important part in maximising ACC and non-eligible revenue by ensuring eligible activity is identified, monitored, processed, invoiced and reported accurately, completely and within required timeframes. You'll support a range of ACC revenue activities including treatment injury invoicing, monthly and quarterly billing, referral monitoring, data validation and revenue reporting. You'll investigate variances, rejected claims, delays and missed billing opportunities, escalating issues where there are service, system or contractual risks. A key part of the role will be building strong relationships with clinical and service teams, ACC and finance colleagues. You'll provide practical guidance on ACC contracts, eligibility requirements, billing pathways and documentation, helping teams understand their responsibilities and ensuring activity is captured correctly at source. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement and standardised ways of working, using data and insights to identify gaps, improve revenue capture and support compliance with national standards, financial policies and ACC requirements.

About You

You'll be a proactive and organised professional who enjoys working with people, data and processes. You'll bring: excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative working relationships; a proactive, goal-oriented and focused approach to your work; strong planning, judgement and personal accountability, with the ability to deliver results in a high-volume environment; clear communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences; strong attention to accuracy, with an interest in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Ideally, you'll also have at least six months' experience working with ACC processes, ACC contract coordination experience, strong facilitation and analytical skills, and confidence using Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in a similar revenue, finance or healthcare environment would be valuable.
