We are seeking a motivated and reliable Farm Assistant to join our team in Tasman Murchison

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a genuine interest in dairy farming and animals, and wants to develop their practical farming skills.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. Pay rate is dependent on your skills and experience between $25-$30

Key Responsibilities:


Your day-to-day duties will include:

Preparing the cowshed and milking equipment for milking.

 

Cleaning and maintaining the dairy platform and surrounding areas.

 

Ensuring high standards of shed hygiene and cleanliness.


Monitoring animal health and reporting concerns promptly


Moving and shifting stock safely around the farm 


Weed control and general farm maintenance


Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment


Supporting the farm team with general duties as required


To qualify for this role you must have :
Driver licence Class 1

Able to pass Pre-employed drug test and Ministry of Justice check
Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
Have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
