About Neuwell

Neuwell is an emerging fintech business developing a modern digital lending platform designed to make borrowing simpler, faster and more accessible.

We are building technology-driven financial solutions that combine digital onboarding, automated workflows, data analysis and intelligent decision-support tools to improve the customer lending experience.

As we continue to develop and commercialise the Neuwell platform, we are looking for a capable and commercially minded Business Analyst to join our team.

The Role

The Business Analyst will work closely with management, product, technology, operations and external partners to translate business requirements into practical technology and operational solutions.

You will play an important role in the development of the Neuwell lending platform, helping us analyse business processes, define system requirements, improve customer journeys and support the delivery of new digital financial products.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.

• Work with management and stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into functional requirements.

• Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.

• Prepare business requirement documents, functional specifications, process maps and user stories.

• Design and improve customer journeys covering application, onboarding, identity verification, assessment, approval, loan management and servicing.

• Work closely with software developers and technology partners during system design and implementation.

• Assist with the design and testing of new features for the Neuwell platform.

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document issues and verify system improvements.

• Analyse operational and customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop dashboards, reports and management information to support business decision-making.

• Assist with integration requirements involving payment systems, banking services, identity verification, credit information and other third-party platforms.

• Support the development of automated workflows and AI-assisted business processes.

• Work with compliance and management teams to ensure business processes reflect relevant policies and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with project planning, implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Liaise with internal teams, customers, suppliers and external technology partners.

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Technology, Data Analytics or a related discipline.

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Analyst or similar role.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to understand both business operations and technology.

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.

• Experience preparing process flows, user stories and functional specifications.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong attention to detail.

Highly Regarded Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be particularly valuable:

• FinTech

• Consumer or commercial lending

• Financial services

• Digital banking

• Payments

• Loan management systems

• CRM or workflow automation

• API and third-party system integrations

• Data analytics and reporting

• AI-enabled business automation

• Regulatory or compliance-related projects

Who Will Succeed in This Role?

We are looking for someone who is more than a traditional documentation-focused Business Analyst.

You should be commercially aware, comfortable working in a fast-moving technology environment and capable of taking a business problem from initial concept through analysis, system requirements, implementation and testing.

You will enjoy working closely with founders, management, developers and operational teams and be comfortable contributing ideas rather than simply receiving instructions.
