Carpenter / Pergola & Outdoor Installer

Full-time, Permanent | Minimum 30 hours per week
$30.00 – $35.00 per hour

ACE Builderz is seeking an experienced Carpenter / Pergola & Outdoor Installation Specialist to join our residential construction team.

The role requires a skilled carpenter with proven hands-on experience in pergola, outdoor blind and screen installation, providing ACE Builderz with additional specialist capability across its residential projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out carpentry, construction, installation, renovation and repair work on residential projects.
  • Install pergolas, outdoor blinds, screen blinds, awnings and privacy screens.
  • Measure, cut, assemble and install timber and other building materials.
  • Install pre-fabricated aluminium gates, frames, hinges, locks and associated hardware.
  • Undertake related exterior installation and home improvement work.
  • Read and interpret basic drawings, measurements and installation specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ensure completed work is accurately installed and finished to a high standard.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised worksite.

Essential requirements

  • At least 3 years relevant carpentry or construction experience.
  • Proven hands-on experience installing pergolas, outdoor blinds and/or screen systems.
  • Experience installing pre-fabricated aluminium gates and related hardware is an advantage.
  • Good attention to detail, reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to health and safety.
