Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week
Pay: NZD $40.00–$48.00 per hour

Active 4x4 Dismantlers is seeking an Accountant to support the financial management, reporting and accounting requirements of our automotive-parts operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports.
  • Monitor revenue, expenditure, cash flow and financial performance.
  • Maintain and review accounting systems and financial records.
  • Prepare budgets and assist with financial forecasting.
  • Analyse operating costs and financial results.
  • Prepare financial information required for taxation and statutory purposes.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Provide management with financial analysis and advice.
  • Assist with improving financial controls and accounting procedures.
  • Liaise with external accountants, advisers and relevant authorities when required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a closely related field; OR
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
  • Strong accounting, financial-analysis and reporting skills.
  • Competence with accounting and business software.
