Plumber – Qualified / Registered

DNS Maintenance Limited is a building and maintenance company which had been incorporated in 2010.

Currently, we operate in Auckland, Hamilton, and Whangarei maintaining residential and commercial properties. This role will require you to be based in Hamilton/Waikato and travel amongst the 3 branches will also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance and servicing
• Diagnose and repair plumbing faults and issues
• Install and maintain water supply, drainage and sanitary systems
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
• Complete work efficiently and to a high standard
• Ensure all work complies with relevant New Zealand regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate job records and required documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and team members
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
• Follow all company health and safety procedures

Skills and Experience Required:

• A relevant New Zealand plumbing qualification
• Current New Zealand Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board registration/licensing, where required
• Previous experience in a similar plumbing role - 2+ years
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
• A strong commitment to health and safety
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A full NZ driver's licence
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A professional and positive attitude

Additional Requirements:

• Valid New Zealand Driver's Licence
• Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
