Laundry Supervisor

Immediate start. Work Region: Auckland

We are looking for 1 permanent full-time (at least 30 hours guaranteed to maximum 45 hours per week, workdays from Monday to Sunday, rotating roster) competent laundry assistants to grow with our team.

Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland based laundromat and become a part of a great team. You should ideally be a great team player, punctual, and hardworking.

No prior work experience is required for this role but could be an advantage. Priority will be given to local NZ residence/citizens.

The duties include:

·      Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations 

·      Oversee sorting, washing, drying, ironing, pressing, and folding of laundry items 

·      Ensure items are cleaned and handled according to the correct procedures and quality standards 

·      Allocate duties to staff and provide day-to-day support 

·      Train staff in laundry procedures, hygiene, and safe equipment use 

·      Ensure laundry items are properly labelled, tracked, and returned correctly 

·      Monitor stock levels of detergents, cleaning products, and other supplies 

·      Check laundry equipment and arrange maintenance or repairs when needed 

·      Keep the laundry area clean, organised, and safe 

·      Respond to customer enquiries or complaints professionally 

·      Assist with minor sewing or mending if required
