Service Station Attendant

The Service Station Attendant is expected to work a minimum of 30 - 35 hours a week with a weekly payroll. Hours are rostered on a weekly basis and include weekend shifts.

Job Description:
1. Filling fuel tanks and containers to the level specified by the customer.
2. Checking and replenishing air pressure in vehicle tyres, and oil and other vehicle fluid levels.
3. Always ensure the forecourt is clear of any rubbish, debris and potential hazards.
4. Greeting and welcoming all customers, assisting with their needs and queries politely and professionally.
5. Be aware of all current store promotions and specials, informing all customers accordingly.
6. Professionally handling customer complaints and referring these to the manager accordingly.
7. Collect customer payments and provide a receipt upon customer request.
8. Assist with preparing coffee and beverages, and support basic food preparation and presentation to ensure quality service standards.
9. Activate fuel pumps for customers' using careful discernment and discretion.
10. Ensure forecourt bins are emptied daily and the windscreen solution is changed on a daily basis.

Job Requirements:

1. Be outgoing, friendly and have a can-do attitude.
2. Have prior experience with making great coffee, food preparation and presentation preferred but not compulsory.
3. An ability to provide top class customer service.
4. An ability to undertake cleaning activities, replenish and move stock and serve customers at the point of sale and all other work related to gas station.
5. A real Team Member.
6. Gas station experience is preferred but not compulsory.
7. Valid driver full licence compulsary.
8. Please ensure you provide your full availability for mornning, evening, night and weekend shifts monday to sunday. 

All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice
check when required.
