Hours: 32 hours per week
Hourly wage: $34.00-$44.00/hour based on your skills and experiences

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients’ insurance needs, business activities and risk exposures, and provide appropriate insurance advice.
  • Compare and recommend suitable insurance products and coverage based on clients’ requirements.
  • Prepare insurance submissions and quotations and negotiate policy terms, premiums and coverage with insurers.
  • Arrange, manage and renew insurance policies, ensuring clients maintain appropriate and continuous cover.
  • Explain policy terms, conditions, exclusions, risks and coverage to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Assist clients with insurance claims and liaise with insurers and underwriters on their behalf.
  • Review clients’ insurance arrangements and identify changes in their business or risk profile requiring updated cover.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, particularly Asian and Chinese-speaking business clients.
  • Maintain accurate policy, client and claims records and comply with applicable insurance and financial services requirements.

 

Requirements:

You must hold NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 (Life & Health strand)

or

At least three years of relevant experience
