FORTUNE C LIMITED located in Auckland, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a roster. You will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Apply appropriate welding techniques to join metal components and structures.
  • Monitor and adjust welding equipment settings to ensure consistent quality and structural integrity of welds.
  • Clean and finish welded joints using tools such as files, chisels, and grinders.
  • Inspect and test completed welds for defects to ensure they meet industry standards and project specifications.
  • Carry out any other tasks and duties that are reasonably necessary or incidental to the position.
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably required by the Team Leader.

 

About you:

  • At least one year of relevant work experience in the same field OR NZQF Level 4 qualification or above(No specific major is required for a Bachelor's degree or higher).
  • Physically fit with a clear criminal record
