You will play a key role in helping customers understand their security risks, providing practical recommendations, and supporting them to improve their security posture. You will also contribute to scoping and pre-sales activities, support less experienced team members, and help drive innovation and continuous improvement across the practice.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver application, network, systems, and infrastructure penetration tests for customers, particularly those with large or complex testing requirements
  • Perform the top five and emerging STA services to a high standard, as well as contribute across a broad range of services within the practice catalogue
  • Prepare high-quality reports that clearly articulate security findings, risk impacts, remediation recommendations, and practical solutions
  • Lead customer engagements, including kick-off meetings, progress updates, and presentation of findings, recommendations, and next steps
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, while identifying opportunities to add value across existing and new customer accounts
  • Partner with Customer Sales and Customer Solutions teams in a pre-sales capacity to support scoping, costing, proposals, RFQs, and tenders
  • Ensure key delivery KPIs are met across customer expectations, project budgets, deadlines, quality standards, and overall engagement outcomes

Preferred qualifications, experience and skills

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • A tertiary qualification in information systems, software development, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Penetration testing certifications such as SANS, OSCP, CREST CCT (Applications or Infrastructure), or similar certifications preferred, though not essential
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience as a security testing practitioner or cyber security practitioner
  • Demonstrated experience delivering penetration testing and technical security assessments across applications, networks, systems, and infrastructure
  • Experience producing clear, high-quality reports and communicating findings, risks, and remediation recommendations effectively
  • Experience contributing to customer-facing activities such as pre-sales, scoping, proposals, RFQs, or tenders
