Operate tipper truck and support site labour to progress civil infrastructure projects

Tipper Driver Operator

As a Tipper Driver Operator for one of the largest infrastructure business' in New Zealand, you will be involved in exciting projects requiring you to pick up civil work, the operation of heavy machinery and preparation of sites. Our team in Auckland are looking for a motivated Driver Operator to join the team. You will be responsible for operating the Tipper truck to transport and unload loose earth, and support with general labouring work when required. You will also be loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices.

Hourly rate of $28-$32 on offer

Guaranteed 40 hours per week

To be successful within this role we are looking for someone who has experience operating civil machinery, along with the below:

  • Full Class 4 License at minimum
  • You must have either:
  • At least 3 years or more of relevant job experience,
  • or a qualification at level 4 or higher on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF) (Work experience can replace qualification)
  • Exposure to Milling and Paving works would be an advantage, but training can be given to the right candidate
  • The ability to work hands-on as a team player
  • Good timekeeping skills - punctuality and reliability is key!
